* We know that there are a few Sky minidishes that this will not fit, or will not fit without filing down the spigot! If your dish turns out to be non-standard like this, please send us a photo of it. If it's impossible to fit our LNB you may return it for a refund.

An adapter is supplied. If your dish arm has a larger size hole, please slide the adapter into the end of the arm then push the LNB spigot in.

Note: Most Twin-output LNBs for Sky minidishes are no longer available. Allegedly, BskyB removed them from the market because of technical problems caused by independents fitting them badly or to the wrong dishes. The good news is that we've been able to reduce the price of the Quad-output LNB so you can use that instead :o)

OCTO LNBs

Many Thomson Digibox power supplies begin to fail after 12 months. This can result in a "poor signal" indication, which is more noticeable with certain LNBs - especially if the LNB requires more current from the power supply. (An eight-output LNB requires more current than a quad or a single). We do recommend checking this if you get problems afer upgrading your LNB. It's reported more often with the HD boxes but the Sky+ digibox has the same power supply unit.

OCTO 8-output universal LNB, by Wistron or similar, for Sky minidishes with 28 x 18.5mm arm aperture. The LNB bracket spigot fits inside the arm.

Sky minidishes manufactured after April 2009 have a different LNB attachment method. the arm is 27mm wide and the LNB bracket fits over the top of it. This type of LNB is NOT suitable for any other type of dish.

Q. Why are your LNBs so expensive compared with those on eBay?

A. Because ours are not stolen from Sky. Our prices are actually very competitive.

Q. Why don't you stock a Quattro LNB?

A. We do stock Quattro LNBs for larger dishes. A Quattro LNB is designed to connect to a "multiswitch" which feeds many receivers. It is normally used with a circular dish somewhat larger than a "minidish". Please see our other LNB page.
