Highest quality RF fly-leads/TV extension leads

WF100 lead with straight (male) TV plug both ends

Handmade in the UK using sturdy WF100 foam-dielectric cable with copper foil and copper braid screening. Nickel-plated brass male TV plugs are soldered for reliable DC connection to avoid problems with amplifiers and remote extender eyes which are cable-powered from a Digibox or power supply. You won't find better than these!

Note: this is NOT cheap, thin RG59. It is double-screened WF100 with foam-dielectric.

The ready-made leads, below, are very flexible and convenient to use. However none of them is as well shielded as the leads on our cable page and we recommend that, for more critical applications where interference could be a problem, you use the better leads* or make your own leads by ordering cable from the cable page and TV or F plugs from this page.
* A TV-toF adapter may be required.

Self Amalgamating tape just 2p per inch!
	AMALG2P - a cheaper alternative Remove plastic backing, stretch it to twice its length and it welds to itself as you bind it. Essential for waterproofing "F" connector joints outside. Good for car radiator hose repairs, too! 10 inch length 20p or full reel £4.95. Typical LNB connection needs 5 inches. (Rubber boots for F connectors available - see connector page)

Twist-on 'F' connector plugs (threaded) All 'F' plug nuts are the same but the cable entry size varies. The "F" plugs that we stock have been carefully selected to match the cable that we supply. (Silicone grease should be applied. No special tools necessary. No soldering. You will require strong fingers or pliers.) So the RG6FPLUG is for SATDS cable, which is very soft and requires a fractionally tighter fit. The H109FPLUG suits WC100 and the obsolete CT100 and H109F cables. The WF1FPLUG is for WF100 cable, which is foam-filled and requires the slackest fitting. So the internal thread of this plug is the widest diameter of the three. The difference in internal diameter is a fraction of a millimetre and virtually impossible to measure but it's important to get it right. We know of no other supplier that bothers to ensure that the plug fits the cable. If you are in any doubt, please order all three and try them. They aren't exactly expensive! We also supply coloured cable suitable for Sky, Freeview, Virgin. We offer cables cut to standard lengths. If you need an in-between size we can not help. (Originally we were offering custom lengths but this led to mistakes so we no longer offer this option.) You can order as many plugs as you like, either individually up to 99, or in packs of 100. We do not stock crimp-on connectors. (see F connector instructions).

Threaded (twist-on) F plug with reduction pin insert and insulator for very low-loss WF125 cable or CT125*. Note: Our rubber boot will not fit over this connector. Please use self-amalgamating tape to seal it if used outdoors. Silicone grease must be used when assembling this plug kit. Kit comprises plug body, plastic insert and pin. The 'F' driver is a versatile tool designed for most television RF cable applications. The socket end helps get the connector into hard-to-reach spaces such as OCTO-LNBs, multi-taps and the back of satellite TV receivers. The threaded end is for 'F' connector insertion for fast and secure connector termination.

090-4333 TV to F adapter

Screws onto an "F" connector so you can plug it into your Aerial input socket on satellite receiver or TV. Allows you to use double-screened coax cable like FF leads above! Use it with our FF leads to make a high quality extension TV lead or RF lead.
Disadvantage: it makes a rather long plug.

Right angle F adapter is used where you prefer the cable to hang straight down or where space is restricted. Simply screw it into an "F" connector.

Labgear PSC050. This is a 5-way earth-bond plate comprising a metal plate bent at right angles with two screw holes and five 090-3078 Threaded "F" barrel fitted. Ideal for using as a distribution plate for up to 5 LNB cables where, perhaps, you need to select 1 out of up to 5 for watching various satellites. More efficient than an LNB switch (virtually no losses compared with typically 4 dB for a switch). Use with 090-3636 "F" push-on adapter and Select "F" plugs to suit your cable. Also recommended for lightning protection at the point of entry into the building. (Saw off what you don't need).

Thin flat cable for window entry

An extremely thin flat cable with threaded "F" connector each end for passing through narrow gaps such as windows and doors. The length of cable between connectors is 170 mm. No measurable loss of signal or quality. Suitable for Digital satellite as well as Analogue or ordinary TV. Select "F" plugs to suit your cable.

Adapters and Belling-Lee TV plugs

Whichever you choose, it's best to use grease or petroleum jelly to make it easier to release.

Also ensure that there is minimal weight hanging on it because the total leverage can damage it (or any socket that it's plugged onto).

These right-angle plugs are ideal for fitting into narrow gaps behind wall-mounted TV sets. Screw secures coaxial cable.

IMPORTANT: If the gap between TV and wall is too narrow even for these plugs, then it will probably overheat. It is essential to have sufficient space to allow a good airflow.
