That cash I spent yesterday on the Installing Sky Digital TV manual (below) is probably going to save my father at least £100 when they take the new sky digital system to France in March.

Friends paid the local satellite fitters in France, the equivalent of £100 each to get their systems aligned (not fitted!). Reading the manual last night I have already learned so much, details that will make purchasing the kit here in Wales a lot easier, and will head off problems in France - Cable speccing, alignment with minimal kit, little fitting tips. Wow! Well worth a few quid!

Fitting the satellite dish won't be a problem; the previous owner left the TV aerial on the roof, along with suitable brackets (checked against our Sky system here in Wales), therefore that side of it is sorted. Using your excellent manual will make the alignment and setup a lot easier than the alternative. The alternative being trial and error!

All the best, and well done on one of the best resources on the Net for Sky Digital stuff.

I have finally had a chance to look at the 'ten minute website' and as promised I will give you my feedback.

As a complete novice I went into it with absolutely no knowledge of web site/pages etc, but after the ten minutes I am now comfortably putting together some pages using the software you recommended. The actual software was an absolute breeze to use and follow and was aimed completely at the right level, the commentary was fine and even the 'oops I didn't want to do that' comments added to the experience.

This is a great bit of software for the novice and gives the ideal basis to start exploring the world of web site building, the colours etc are fine and the way it comes together is good - there is only one typo in the text but I realise that this is something you would check prior to launch.

I am now looking forward to getting into more depth and getting to the point of uploading my site.

Your help is very much appreciated, it is not usually the case that a plea for help is answered in such a professional manner and so quickly. If you decide to market the product I would be glad for you to use my comments to support it.

You won't know unless you try it!" I worked for fifteen years as a designer and I didn't simply pull these ideas out of a hat. Hopefully you will find them interesting and thought-provoking.
