Align your dish at 19.2E and buy a TNTsat card, which is the French equivelant of BBC/ITV Freesat, but requires you to use a card (which lasts for at least 3 years from purchase). Here's a list of the channels you can watch via that package. You can buy the card with a receiver for about £195 but will probably be much cheaper to pay a visit to France to one of the electrical stores and see if you can buy one there. You could also purchase a subscription to canal+, which costs at least £395 for just the card. Comprehensive instructions can be found in our eBooks. I recommend "Installing Sky Digital TV" even though that is not what you are installing. Just remember that the satellite you want is at 19'E and not 28.2'E. If you install a "digital-ready" dish and universal LNB, you can be sure that it will work for both analogue and digital.
