Note: Please check that you have the "Raven" dish, not the TRIAX version. Please DO inspect the dish assembly on delivery. If there is a problem please REJECT the whole delivery so you don't have to pay for return postage. Cosmetic faults, such as scratched paint, are deemed acceptable because we advise you to paint all parts (except the LNB cap that faces the dish) to protect them from the effects of sun and rain. Matt paint is recommended.
Dents and distortion to the face of the dish (no matter how slight) are not acceptable and you should reject any delivery where there is such damage. Slight rim damage is usually permissible if it does not affect the dish face.
If any parts are missing, please contact our SALES department using the email form and state which parts are missing. Please use the descriptions as shown on the diagram, below, and please enclose this link to THIS page for our Sales girls to click on

Windows users should "right click" a DOWNLOAD link above and choose "save target as" to save the PDF file without launching Acrobat Reader. If you "left click" then Acrobat Reader may launch and act as a "helper" for your browser, preventing the file from being saved in its original form. If you do not have "Acrobat Reader" you will also need to download that from here:-

USEFUL RAVEN PHOTOS BELOW
| | What the complete Raven dish assembly should look like. (The support tube may be mounted upside down if required.) |
| | Rear bracket bolted in place. The 'U' bolts will accommodate a 38 mm (1.5") diameter pole. You could also squeeze in the end of our 40 mm "swaged end" pole (see hardware page). |
| | Side view of rear bracket assembly without support tube. There's an approximate elevation scale on the bracket. To find out where to point your dish, and the elevation angle, click HERE. Finalise the rough alignment with a meter as shown HERE. |
| | Rear bracket with support tube attached. |
| | Push the plastic adapter into the oblong-section arm then push the LNB spigot into the adapter. Press the plastic pin into the hole in the arm. |
| | Viewed from the front, the LNB hangs vertically downwards. For most of the UK, it needs to be rotated clockwise by about 20 degrees. Adjust this "skew" position to give best "signal quality" indication on the Digibox menu screen. How to fit an 'F' connector. How to use a signal meter. Notes about LNBs |
| Dependent on which LNB is supplied, you will receive one or more plastic adapters. The one shown on the right (with holes and plastic pin) is the one required for the Raven dish. | The LNB supplied, now, is a MK4 with spirit level adapter, plus a replacement adapter without spirit level. The adapters shown in this photo are not supplied and nor is the "item 8: Feedleg Insert & Fir Tree", which is shown on the instruction sheet. |
| In theory, the LNB is at the correct focal position when the pin fits through the hole in the arm. In practice there's a large variation between LNBs so you can often pull the LNB back or push it forward and achieve a slightly higher signal level. |
